She nearly avoids an assault as she flicks on the lights, causing the lady to vanish. Rebecca is awakened that night by the same dark lady who murdered Paul. When Rebecca finds her mother isn’t taking her medicine, she gets into a fight with Sophie and takes Martin to her apartment. Martin informs his sister that their mother has been speaking with a woman known as “Diana.” Rebecca tells him that Diana is not real, and that she, too, heard their mother speak to the fictitious girl when she was a youngster. Rebecca informs the official that Sophie suffers from depression and is on antidepressants. Rebecca is questioned about Martin’s living situation by a Child Protective Services official.

The nurse was unable to reach Sophie in order to notify her that Martin had been falling asleep in class recently. Rebecca and Martin are half-siblings who share a mother, Sophie. Rebecca, Paul’s stepdaughter, is summoned to the school nurse’s office due to her brother, Martin. After she has left, her employer Paul runs into the lady and is killed. During the closing hours of a textile plant, an employee called Esther sees a silhouette of a weird lady with claw-like hands when the lights are turned out but cannot see it when the lights are turned on.
